RS-232 to RS-422/485 Converter with 15KV Surge Protection & 2.5KV Optical Isolation

The EX-47900IS RS-232 to RS-422/485 converter with 15KV ESD Surge Protection and 2.5KV Optical Isolation is design for your PC, workstation, thin client or server to provides instant RS-422/485 Serial port expansion via the standard RS-232 port. The EX-47900IS equipped a DB9 female connector that can be connected directly to the RS-232 connector from your PC. The EX-47900IS converts unbalanced, fullduplex RS-232 signals to balanced, full or half-duplexRS-422 or RS-485 signals. With the EX-47900IS we include the adapter from 9 pin to 5 pin Terminal Block.

• Loop Back Wiring: RTS to CTS, DTR to SDR and DCD

• Port-powered from RS-232 Lines, External Power Source Supported, but not required in most cased
