Converter RS-232 to RS422/485, compact

The EX-47905 RS-232 to RS-422/485 converter can be used for any PC, workstation or server with an RS-232 interface. The EX-47905 is equipped with a 9 pin female connector that you can connect directly to your RS-232 serial port. It converts unbalanced, full-duplex RS-232 signals to balanced full or half-duplex RS-422 / 485 signals.

• Signal: TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, GND
• Loop Back Wiring: RTS to CTS, DTR to SDR and DCD

• Two modes are selectable: 4-wire RS-422 (TXD+/-, RXD+/-, Half-duplex)/2-wire RS-485 (Data+/-, Data+/-, Full-duplex)
• ATTATM: Supports RS-485 Auto Transceiver Turn Around Feature, Echo Mode for RS-485 mode
• Terminator: 120 Ohm, can be enabled/disabled by DIP switch
• Port-powered from RS-232 Lines
