The EX-1179HMVS provides seven screwable USB downstream ports with 15KV ESD surge protection. This makes it possible to connect up to seven external USB peripherals to one USB 2.0 port on the computer in a 19" rack. The supplied cable EX-K1542V (1.8 meter) A male to B male can be attached to the EX-1179HMVS without a screwdriver using knurled screws.
